cult op3

For my final cultural opportunity I read the book my Ayn Rand entitled Anthem. In this book miss Rand portrays a man in a world in which no one thinks for or about themselves because everything is ran by unions and no individual is really that important, the only real importance is of the unions as a whole. The man belongs to a street sweepers union, so the goal of his life in this world is to not be an individual but only as an end to the goal of keeping the streets clean. The man did not pick to be in this job he was appointed without having a say in it. The man did not have a name he was simply a number with the title of his union in front of his name. The man being a street sweeper fondles with science, and upon his discovery of electricity, he shows the science union his discovery but they chastise him, so the man exiles himself with the electricity. The book is supposed to symbolize independence of every individual, and how treating people as the end of a job, which is what the unions depicted in the books do, ultimately ends in a ignorant conformist mind set. The book was for sure one of the most unique books I ever read and It certainly brought a new perspective of individual right to me. It is a must read book for anyone who is interested in social philosophy.

cult op 2

For my 2nd cultural opportunity I traveled to the ICC art exhibit on the first floor of the school. Upon my arrival, to my amazement I a wider variety of art than I had anticipated. Though there were lots of good paintings there were plenty that were extremely dull and boring. Most of the ones I found to have these characterizes were the painting that expressed no emotion, and the majority of these were the twig paintings, which there were many that laid on the wall. I felt that the art work of the painting labeled blue to be very elegant. It depicts a blue women, drawn very enjoyable to the human eyes. I felt a strong attempt to frighten an art viewer, when I saw the art work labeled wrath. This picture depicts a horse, in rage. The colors in the pages blend in an eerie way. The art exhibit at ICC was a very enjoyable trip and I hope the everyone that goes there has the same experience.

this heres the queen of my double wide trailer

Abortion,
My mother had an abortion. The baby was not conceived of rape, or incest. She had consensual sex with my father before the conception of my oldest brother. That child would have been my mother’s 1st child. This should have came to her as a blessing for she was predicted by a medical professional before she was pregnant that she would never be able to have the joy of childbirth. I believe she was 17 years old when she became pregnant with the aborted baby. The reason for her abortion is rather odd. The reason was not derived from poverty or she would have aborted us all, the reason was not her age my oldest brother was born less than a year later. The reason for her abortion was that she read the lines on her hands, and that predicted how many kids she could have and when. My father was not part of the discussion about, either turning my oldest sibling into a red chunky smoothie, or having a doctor dislimb with tweezers objects (then assembles the limbs like a puzzle to make sure they got IT all), or pulling the baby halfway out of my mother then shoving a tube in its head to suck ITS brain out, no my father had no say in this action. I find almost everything about abortion vile, and disgusting. I don’t believe abortion should be carried out unless under severe circumstances. However I don’t believe I have any divine presence that tells me that I have the solution to this answer. I do not believe there should be laws restricting this monstrosity. As stated previously I believe the actions of making laws should be regional, the smaller region the less people fascist hurt by the outcome of the laws that are in place. States for the most part are very large, but I believe that the states controlling the abortion’s rights is still way better then the federal government stomping its enormous foot down and saying that abortion is ultimately right for everyone everywhere. I for one would be more at ease knowing the state that I lived in did not allow such act, again I make no claim as to knowing when life begins but I am not an advocate of this. I know that not ever circumstance is as odd as my mothers, but I know people need to understand cause and effect. (Rest of abortion pretty ranty) I have heard that no one is pro-abortion, that no one likes that abortions happen, if this were true then why do so many have unprotected sex(hopefully everyone knows that incest and rape abortion accounts for less than 10 percent of abortions). If they are ignorant of the fact that, the action of unprotected sex often leads to pregnancy shouldn’t the mega behemoth government do more to educate them on that subject, and by this I do by no means mean just hand more money over to the people who are teaching them about sex now. I believe (make no claim that it is right) we need to find the best way to teach the people who are most susceptible to have abortion, of the consequences of it. I suggest this over the alternative, have all the unprotected sex you want, and if you have an unwanted pregnancy just abort (kill, maybe?) it.
Socialism in the United States from a child observer
As suggested in the previous topic I come from a very poor family. My family has repeatedly turned to the government for help, and the government has always been there to answer the request. At what expense though? My grandfather worked for a coal mine in Alabama when he was a kid, the specific age I do not know. For the coal mine he told me that was the longest job he ever had which didn’t last very long. He was a pretty much a drifter, a hitchhiker, he traveled the whole United States in his day (or so he says), but was never able to hold a steady job, for the simple fact that he never wanted to stay in one place long. Ultimately he did in Illinois, Peoria around the late 70’s, even though he was unable to hold a job. From here to the late 80’s I don’t know much about his life. Around the late 80’s he married his 3rd wife, who was mentally unstable and collecting money from the government because of her disabilities. Apparently my grandfather saw this, and wanted some of that precious tax payer money. He claimed he was disabled even though he wasn’t and has been collecting tax payer money ever since. My father was on the low class of society to, which was how he meets my mother. My father has never held a job that was ever that good, and never really had the ambition to try. My father dealt drugs and worked horrible jobs, when he didn’t have enough to sell, and he didn’t have work, the good all U.S tax dollars were there to help. As a child in this situation (my mother’s was non to much better than my father’s I assure you) the government money absolutely did help me as a small child. Though I can’t help but contemplate that maybe if the government assistant wasn’t there that maybe my grandfather would I have gotten a good job that was stable for his lifestyle, or that maybe my father wouldn’t have been able to fall back on the government at the time of ‘droughts’ he would have pursued a better career (which my uncle his best friend did who was born in pretty much the same class as he was). I believe that he would have chosen a better career but I do not have anything to compare my experience to. I believe strongly that nobody (sane) is stupid and that my father would have not, with a grateful heart seen his children starve to death, the scenarios I break it down into is either I would have been adopted by a more economically stable family, or my father would have manned up, and became more economically stable which both would have been better than what was experienced by me as a child. I currently use (not abuse) government help, I’m trying to do nothing more than break free from the cycle of poverty which I was born into. At my time at the bottom I have seen no one, no one, no one use the government socialist helps the way it is intended. I have seen multiple families sell food stamps for well under their worth for drugs (the only thing I can say I am proud about my father for his use of socialism is he never did this), I have seen people purposely injure themselves so they could ill use medical cards for their prescription drug needs, I have seen multiple ill use of unemployment. I know that the situations I have seen are not the only situation possible, but during my time at the bottom I have seen many people on these socialist programs, and virtually all with few exceptions have exploited the purpose in which these programs were intended. which brings me to my stance that government help is the worst help to get. I would like to finish my last blog with two quotes that strongly affected the person I am.
"I am for doing good to the poor, but...I think the best way of doing good to the poor, is not making them easy in poverty, but leading or driving them out of it. I observed...that the more public provisions were made for the poor, the less they provided for themselves, and of course became poorer. And, on the contrary, the less was done for them, the more they did for themselves, and became richer."
Ben Franklin
“The scariest words in the English language are I am from the Government and I am here to help”
Ronald Reagan

don't come home ah drinking with loven on your mind

I consider myself a very opinionated person and so for my last blog I felt that it is only right to throw down my opinion on several major issues that I feel passionate about.
My political beliefs.
In past blogs I have spoke about specific issues, and on what sides of the issues I stand on but I don’t ever think I have an overview of how I really feel about the government. To sum up my beliefs I consider myself libertarian leaning conservative. Do not be confused by the term conservative, because the Republicans have stolen it and twisted the meaning. Republicans and Democrats are both socialist and fascist just in different aspects. For fascism the Republicans have anti abortion, which I do not believe in abortion, but I will speak more about that later, they also try to force religion down the throats of every American which I don’t agree with it. The Democrats fascism is affirmative action which tells companies that they have to hire so many people of different ethnicities as opposed to hireling the most qualified which is utterly fascist, also they are pro abortion (I’m sorry pro life), which is fascist, also their views on gun control laws are fascist (keep in mind I am generalizing the common beliefs of both parties, and also they both have more fascist ideas I am just using these few to get my point across.). So what is the solution to this travesty, an answer that would please everyone (or almost everyone), extreme states rights. I don’t believe this would eliminated the fascism from the parties I believe however that the fascism would not be able to hurt anyone this way. When the federal government, tells America that people are allowed to have unprotected sex with an unlimited number of partners without the possibility of having raise any children some people sit over well with this idea, but for others it’s like trying to fit a square peg in a round hole, you know it’s going to be hard to get it in there but you’re going to try like hell to make it fit. Keep in mind this is just an example if there were no federal laws about abortion for it or against it the states would be allowed to make the laws that they feel there people want, if you don’t like how the states handle the decision you could move to a different state that does support your beliefs, bingo bang boom everybody’s happy. The only thing the federal government should do is have a military, a federal reserve, and a few other things but certainly they should not have as much power as they do. On of the main problem with big government is when a major event happens (our current economic crisis) and the public wants answers the answers we get are pretty much two little kids pointing the finger at one another. If the government was smaller it would be a lot easier to find the culprit of major event, instead of playing the blame game.
Illegal immigration.
Everyone has heard the stories of people jumping over the boarder so they can live a better life in America than they were living in their country, and these people should be forced to stay persecuted in their own country as opposed to stealing our job’s, just kidding. Honestly how effective are the people who lost their jobs, at their jobs. The answer to this is if people really care that much about their job gets a job with better job security, duh. There are lots of people though that do happen to come into the county not to pursue a better life but to peddle drugs, and I shall address this topic later. The answer to the illegal immigration debate I believe is periodical open boards, and amnesty. Give all immigrants the right to be citizens so they can pay their taxes and contribute to the progression of society. If every immigrant paid taxes we would certainly have enough revenue to build better borders. Which by the way I believe the borders should only be closed in war time, and times of economic hardships, everyone should have the right to the American dream. If this were to happen we could easily have the true illegal immigrants that only want to pedal drugs easily escorted out of the country, fairly easy with the newly acquired revenue. We need to stop telling other counties to keep their tired, their poor and their huddled masses, we need to tell the countries we will take their tired, their poor and their huddled masses like our ancestors did a hundred years ago when the statue of liberty was brought over.
And on God.
My vision of god I believe differs greatly than what most people are used to hearing. My belief in god came to me after reading several works of Plato, and Tomas Aquinas’s treaties on god. It summed up is merely god is not really a being, or a person; god is merely a characteristic something can have. Essentially that characteristic can only be given to something inconceivable; the inconceivable thing is given the characteristic of good. By that I mean god is merely everything that is inconceivable, and good. To give an example of this the big bang theory, the big bang brought everything into existence, since the big bang is still surrounded by many questions it is still inconceivable of how it happen and I am sure many would agree with me that whatever really created life is good, there for the big bang if it is true, which is impossible to know, has the characteristic of being god. I will now put my theory into a biblical story that is renowned to be true. Moses leading the Jews across a split red sea. There are many documents that state that the red sea actually did split, in the manner depicted in the bible. What made the red sea split however is inconceivable, and it is renowned to be good because it allowed many people to escape slavery.

This are just a few of my beliefs question them If you must I will do my best to defend my positions. I am for sure I did not layout all my idea’s, and for that I am sorry, also sorry if I left anything out of these, ideas of mine.

(PC) What do you mean i'm moraly gifted.

It has recently been brought to my attention, the stupidity of political correctness. I understand the purpose of political correctness is to try to sugar coat everything, so certain things don't sound as bad as they really are, but enough is enough. I have tried to think of this subject not only as a white man, (yes white not colorly challenged, yes man not y chromosomally gifted) but no circumstance have I ever felt offended by the words of another, not when I was called a white boy, or honkey or white bread in the Peoria schools, or when I was called a fundy for my Christian beliefs and you mean to tell me people are getting upset of these moronic things., I have read accounts of stores being ridiculed for selling 'Christmas trees' apparently there supposed to be holiday trees what garbage is that, who gets hurt in calling a Christmas tree a Christmas tree, or black board a blackboard as opposed to chalkboards, or man holes being called man holes as opposed to personal assess units(supposedly offensive to women?). These things are just words why get offended by them, why do people try to derail the entire societies way of thinking because a very few people (which I don't even believe) get their feelings hurt. The only instance I can think of that I would ever use PC would being referring to someone as mentally challenged as opposed to retarded, even though I don’t understand why this is offensive completely because the definition of retarded is "characterized by retardation: a retarded child" thank you diconary.com these words are not meant to hurt anyone, they are meant to be used as all other words are simplify how we communicate, does anyone call a fat person horizontally gifted, an anorexic person horizontally challenged, a criminal morally challenged, no I don't think so. The English language is already considered one of the hardest language to us effectively let’s keep it as simple as possible. A fat person is fat, a criminal is a criminal, a Christmas tree is a Christmas tree, a whore is a whore, and they are not sexually gifted. We live in an extremely culturally varied world, this is non deniable, but honestly who gets hurt from these words, they are not slurs, and they should not be sugar coated.

cultural analysis

Cultural analysis 1.

I took a trip up the road to a little restaurant by the name of Aachis. Aachis serves north and south Indian cuisine with an extreme variety of vegetarian and non vegetarian food. Its location is 917 north Western Avenue about where Western turns into main.
Upon my arrival to this small restaurant, I find parking to be a non issue. There are no real blinds in the window so the entire restaurant is visible through the parking lot. It is very bright, and lots of bright plain colors on the walls, which hold a variety of Indian artwork. The Tables though few are covered with flowers, in vases, which lay upon a burgundy table mats. I expect I shall soon be entering a heavenly place.
As I open the glass door I find myself waiting to be seated. I assume even though there was only one other couple there besides me and my acquaintance for some odd reason we were waiting to be seated for around 5 minutes. Finally as were seated we find ourselves yet again waiting, this time on our minuses. It is while this time is elapsing we discover many things. The first thing that is discovered is at the slightest touch of our table it creates a pendulum effect. The second is there are strange spotty stains on the plainly painted walls. Thirdly while poking fun at the spots our eyes comes in contact with the thermostat which was set to 85 degrees this is when we realize we are burning up. Lastly our ears are engulfed by what I assume to be the Indian equivalency of MTV.
I tried not to let this things spoil my time so I allowed our evening to unfold a little further. Our food arrived in a fair amount of time, and I won’t say at their prices it was easy on the wallet but it was surely not highway robbery. The meal I ordered was a goat stew sort of thing with tomatoes in it and I piece of what I call pancake bread, and rice. I took my first bite of this stew to find the spicy taste mixed with the rice and the bread happened to be quite delicious. So with my next bite I expected the same, but the next bite my mouth was unpleasantly introduced to pretty rough and tough bones. I informed the waiter, who then looked at me as though I was foolish and said there supposed to be there. I said ok and bided my time once again. Then a strange noise, came from the back room it was loud, repetitive and it seemed as though the intervals of time it for the noise to repeat itself was at a steady pace. I yet again dismissed this noise which was louder than the half naked Indian on TV was singing. A little bit more time elapsed before nature called where I was encouraged to go to where the noise was coming from. On the trip to the restroom I found the noise culprit an unbalanced washing machine, and was given an awkward smile by one of their employees.
After my visit to the powder room I sat back down and completed the rest of my meal. The check was given I paid my part and asked for a menu to take home, which it was provide after roughly around 15 minutes after I asked for it.

ad analysis 10

In my ad analysis I had an ad of Brett Favre sponsoring Wrangler Jeans. I found this assignment to be fairly easy for the most part that is. The easiest part of the assignment was just examining the ad and breaking down each individual thing about the ad and describing it. After describing parts of the ad I then finished most of the paragraphs with the message I got from the different parts of the ad. The most enjoy however that I got from the ad was researching this football legend and finding out more about him. Such as he was an MVP a few times and he started up a charity for mentally handicapped kids. The hardest part of the assignment for me was the thesis I have not written many so this was not a treat for me. On the other hand after so many of Stephanie’s wonderful thesis activities I think it is safe to say I found a great one I put in my paper. On top of everything I feel that this assignment advanced me as a writer.

This Will keep the king of england out of my face(1)

The second amendment (the right to bare arms) is by far my favorite amendment about baring arms. I decided to write a piece about gun rights after reading yet another blog about gun rights (that one being about guns in console, mine about concealed carry gun control). I will start off reinforcing the stereotypical right wing approach if you illegalize it the people who want guns bad enough will get them. This belief stands on a horrible foundation though. To say that just because people will do it no matter what the law says is quite moronic, if this were the case then why not legalize rape, murder, and theft (do you hear that pro choice’s )they will be done by a good deal of the population why not make them all legal. Of course you or I would never say these things, the point of this article it to persuade all who reads it that gun ownership (in my case concealed carry ) different from though monstrous deeds. (I’m sure my readers have all heard about 1, 2, or several people who abused the privilege of concealed carry, my answer to that is we've all also heard the story of the criminal who abused the privilege of not having constant government watch). This is not an easy topic to discuss there are so many factors that go into leading me into my conclusion. A blanket approach to my conclusion is concealed carry is self-evident (does a bear not use every weapon he can to defend himself when its life or the life of its cub is in danger there’s not some leader bear saying clip your claws you might hurt someone) if everyone had a concealed weapon everyone would be able to defend them self to the fullest extent right (What happened at Columbine again? v.a tech?). The main support for my belief is that the good strongly outweighs the bad, not that everyone is good (commie's)or everyone is bad.(I have heard that only police officers should be able to conceal carry a weapon, Right police officers have never abused this privilege). As long as that is so anything but concealed carry makes no sense, there will all ways be a few bad people, and there will always be a lot more good people to crush the bad.I have also heard that well there could be lots of accidents with the guns. It is a good concern I must say but from my research the gun accident rate is so mathematically insignificant it should not be a main argument in the outlaw of conceal carry. There are already a lot of government safety regulations i.e. the safety button (you know the thing that the gov't ordered to put on guns, anything the fat cats can do to get in the way of the gun owner and him killing something tsk tsk).It is like saying we must outlaw knifes because a few people cut themselves while cooking, or making a sandwich or what have you.Probably the main point I should bring up is no state to the best of my knowledge gives conceal carry rights easily, they have to be earned, though many classes, and background checks and mental evaluations(and the prices are astronomical in most cases). With all this in mind if your qualified to have a conceal carry license your qualified to be a polices officer, and just because the stars don't point you in the direction of becoming a police officer doesn’t mean you should not be able to have a concealed carry license. As long as all these requirements are meet who should stop someone from carrying a gun.I like to end this piece with a quote from the "Motor City Madman". "Only a coward would want less good guys on the streets with guns.", and "Cat Scratch Fever"

The only way to watch Fox News

I've heard some pretty morbid representation about Fox News.So I am going to defend them. I have heard that the anchors on many of the programs are racist, and having watched Fox News for some time I have no clue where that comes from. Fox News does in fact have many radical journalists, I would agree with that. My answer to that though would be what moderate has ever been entertaining. Sean Hannity, Bill O’Riely, Geraldo are all pretty radical, it’s pretty hard to deny that. Like all other television shows they have a target audience, why would they try to appeal to anyone other than their target audience? I think they do a good job at capturing there target audience. To the best of my knowledge out of all the cable news stations they have the highest ratings, so criticize it if you want there still pulling in the ratings. Of the three I previously stated I must say are a bit far away from my beliefs, but there is a show on Fox News that does get pretty close. Glenn Beck, that’s right the guy that called our president racist, the organizer of the 9/12 project, the writer of common sense (which I read and very much enjoyed), the guy blew the whistle on Van Jones, and other extreme socialist, communist, and Marxist people our president appointed czars, (remember during the debates when Barack Obama said something in the neighborhood of you can tell where I stand on issues by the people a surround myself with?), and also drew strong media attention to corrupt organizations, such as ACORN(The group that many political candidates paid to help campaign for them, that have been linked to funding prostitution at all ages) and SEIU. I do not follow everything he says blindly no absolutely not, and he does have a political spin on his stories, but every news station I have ever watched has one to and if you want to get the story without a spin watch c-span and shut up.

take an ear full of this

Writing I feel is becoming more habitual. I can for sure tell my writing technique underwent drastic improvement; I still fall short of the mark in some places. As a good example I shall use my Autoethnography one more time. Ah yes Jake the Simpsons fans that is no doubt. My Autoethnography screams that message and drills it into the head of all the poor souls who happen to read it. The problem is that I with the extravagant excitement I enjoyed with describing my placement into this subculture, I blindly looked over one important piece of information. That piece of information being I vaguely describe the sub-culture itself I just drilled to my audience that I belonged to that group. How could I be so blind to look over such an important piece of information? I believe this mistake happened because of my horrible, ability to follow direction. As with many of my other problems I shall work hard on trying to solve this problem. Also like many of my other previous problems this one not too hard to fix either.

nineteen eighty-four

“If you cannot write well, you cannot think well, and if you cannot think well, others will do you thinking for you.” –George Orwell. That is the quote written above my English 110 syllabus. One of the first days of this class our instructor, engaged in communicating about this quote, and this man. After explaining the quote, she asked the audience, something in the neighborhood of what did this man write? A few seconds after the final words spilled out of her mouth, one of my peers in the back answered with, “Animal Farm.” The name George Orwell sounded so horribly familiar to me, and once “Animal Farm” left the air and the instructor said “What else”. I held the key that unlocked Pandora’s Box. My hand leaped forward and, then “Nineteen Eighty-Four”, flew from my lips and hung in the. Now not too sure on the answer I gazed in to her eyes hoping not to be embarrassed by failure. A probably noticeable, sigh of relief sprang fourth once conformation of my answer occurred.
Though I recognized the book’s existence, ignorance surrounded all of my perception of its content. So soon after this event took place, of course inquiring of the content, had been pure Jake. Like all humans in today’s society the internet snapped into my mind when research crossed the brain. After the constant drilling of information that repeated on just about every webpage related to this book I knew the option of not reading this book, left the table. Since I am a college kid I chose to approach the situation the free way. The ICC library (which is wonderful by the way) being my first, and only stop in obtaining this wonderful piece of literature, I’m sure is not a shock to anyone.
I am not finished with the book yet, but I am close. I am far enough in the book to inform other’s to the same clichés that informed me, it is amazing. I believe the book to be around 60 years old, and yet readers of the book can still relate to it, and enjoy it just as our fathers, and grandfathers had. Failure to read this book is foolish.

run-ons

“Jake you can’t form sentences this way”. Is what my girlfriend told me as she saw the massive amount of run-on sentences in my Auto ethnography. “Well why not” came out of my stunned face. “You’re trying to force too many independent clauses together under too few periods”. She said and as she said it I knew she was right. So because of this conversation the overjoyed Jacob Martin found a way to improve his writing. YAY!! I used the computer machine to look up the best way to solve this agonizing problem. My first lesion brought me to feel mighty ignorant. Use a period to split the smooched clauses, and knowing when to end a sentence is very important. That was the answer I got it did not satisfy me enough so I dug a little deeper into this conundrum. Getting the definition really help me to better understanding the problem. When a sentence has too many ideas and runs on too long, it is called a run-on sentence. So what makes an idea is where my research went. Well a subject and a verb of course duh. The information did not meet what I was looking for. I then asked myself then if I know all of these things what makes my sentences run on. Then like a ton of bricks it hit me, my adjectives. The wonderful words I use to describe answered the question. So there lay the solution. All I have to do is watch where I put my describing words. In researching this I hope that this problem comes to a halt.

Capitalism v.s socialism

To understand why I think capitalism is better than socialism we must first define each of them. Socialism: a theory or system of social organization, that advocates the vesting of the ownership and control of production, distribution of capital, land, etc, in the community as a whole(everything owned by the government) , or in the Marxist theory : The stage following capitalism in the transition of a society to communism characterized by the imperfect implementation of collectivism principles. And capitalism: an economic system characterized by private or corporate ownership of capital goods, by investments that are determined by private decision, and by prices, production, and the distribution of goods that are determined mainly by competition in a free market. Examples of countries ran by socialism are China, Cuba, the former, Soviet Union, and Venezuela. Examples of countries ran by capitalism, the home team of course. Ireland and Australia actually beat us out as more economically free countries from my research. To first get to my point of why capitalism is better, ask yourself witch of the countries I listed would you like to visit, or even live in, and under what category do they fall under. Economically all these countries are and were horrible, except parts of China that are economically freer than, even the U.S. With the economy out of the of all the countries I listed under the socialist category, they ether had, concentration camps (soviet union Josef Stalin), Citizens were mass murdered (China Mao). Where and when has thing like that every happend, in the U.S, Ireland, or Australia. though i know capitalism is breeding ground for greed, which economic stucture is'nt.

Adressing the problem is the first step to advancement.

I think I need major improvement in my writing. I don’t feel as though I explain thoroughly enough what I want to explain. This is too big of a problem to leave unaddressed. By showing where and how I made mistakes I hope it will improve this area of writing for me. The reason I want to explain why these thing hurt my writing, it to improve my writing.
The hardest problem to approve one’s writing, I think is the one I previously stated. Here is what I found wrong with my assignments so far this semester. As I look back on my first week’s blog, I feel as though I did not state everything I thought clearly or effectively. I had an astronomical thought on the topic of health care reform but, when I started writing the thoughts, I saw that my thought did not appear as though they did in the head. Ultimately this made my writing less informative on what my thought where on this subject. This problem also affected my ability to write the assessment. The fury of thought that raced through my mind as I saw the topic were great, but they we not organized. As I tried to organize my thought I on this subject it slowed my writing down greatly, when I was done I realized I had roughly a half a page done, it’s sad really. If I could change one thing right now about my writing it would be explaining and organizing my thought clearer and, and more efficiently. Over all I do believe this blog strongly helped my writing and, is a turning point for the advancement of my ability to express my thoughts clearer.

This is a topic that everyone should strongly care about. If this current reform bill passes that would mean a great change in our current healthcare. I understand that this is meant to ensure that everyone in the U.S has healthcare, and to have healthcare that is equal to the rest of the worlds. With that said, every country that has strong government interference with healthcare all has major setbacks. .
Also, if this reform bill were to pass that would mean a great increase in taxes, which I don’t believe would be good for anyone in a rescission. If there was a public option it would draw away people from the insurance companies, resulting in fewer physicians, and fewer choices for our health provides, also it would undermine the markets, after all healthcare makes up one seventh of our U.S economy.
While researching this online I found a poll that I believe helps my case. In this conservative poll, it suggests that 60% of Americans believe there taxes will go up if this bill is passed. Later in the same poll it claims that 45%of Americans believe the quality of their health care will diminish under the purposed plan. Also, 76% of Americans agree that the government should focus on fixing the economy before they try to fix, a health care system that is not broken. Lastly, almost unanimously by 92% Americans believe that congress should read and understand the bills they vote on, even if they are over a thousand pages. Hello Americans do you really want the people that run the department of motor vehicles, or the post office running your doctor visits.
